Meet the Team

Keith Gorrie
Keith has been involved in the pool industry since 1980.  During that time he has been involved with building many different types of pools including Pool Fab, Tracey Wickham, Gateway, Pioneer, Gilbraltar, Precision, Exotic & Aqualon Panel Pools.  Keith has been contracted to do 2 renovations to the swimming pool at Government House Brisbane, tank liners at the Ampol Refinery and a commercial installation in a resort pool at Bokissa Island Vanuatu.

Cathy Gorrie

Cathy began working for Aqualon in the office for her parents in the early 90’s and has now been involved in the pool industry for over 20 years.  In 1994 she went to work at Swimart at Springwood, again in the office, but found the experience invaluable as far as exposure to the other side of the pool industry. Cathy has now run Aqualon with her husband Keith since 2001.

Dan Gorrie

Dan began landscaping in 2000 working for Eureka Landscape Brisbane.  In 2003 Dan was awarded Landscape Trainee of the Year.  During his time at Eureka he was involved with concrete work & has worked with various Brisbane concreting companies & for the last few years has been concreting for the mines in NSW & WA.  Dan has worked with us on both Commercial & Domestic jobs over the last 10 years including a liner install in Vanuatu.   Dan is keen to take Aqualon to the next level with his concreting experience & in the future would like Aqualon to be building new liner pools again.

Natasha is new to the pool industry but has a keen eye for detail & is a great communicator. Natasha studied business after completing year 12, and has worked in the customer service & retail industry for many years. We have been taking Natasha out and about on excursions to jobs to get a true idea of what is involved in our renovations.

Jake Dugan-Gorrie

Jake is now the third generation of the family to be working with us. Jake has worked with us over the years doing his “apprenticeship” on school holidays, and since leaving school has been with us full time. Jake is showing his artistic flair with tiling.

Mark Green

Mark is another of us with a pool history in his genes, and began in the in industry building concrete pools with his dad as a teenager. After 15 years of building pools, Mark worked for 10 years with a major trade supplier to the pool, spa & building industry. During this time he has obtained a wealth of knowledge of filtration, chemicals, LED lighting, pool heating, water features, spare parts – the list goes on & on. Mark has been our “go to” man for a few years now and we are ecstatic to have him on the team.

Rob has been with us learning the ropes for a couple of years now, and has been a friend of the family for many years.
